Dr. Tridibes Mandal is a Consultant Urologist at Apollo Gleneagles Hospital in Kolkata, specialising in Endourology, Laparoscopy, Robotic Surgery and Renal Transplant.
Dr. Mandal completed his graduation and post-graduation from Calcutta Medical College, obtaining the MBBS degree in 1998 and the MS (General Surgery) postgraduate degree in 2004. He then took up the post of Senior Clinical Associate in Onco Surgery at Jaslok Hospital in Mumbai. He underwent training in Urology at Jaslok Hospital for three years from 2005, and was awarded the DNB (Urology) title by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, in 2008.
Dr. Tridibes Mandal completed the Vattikuti Urology Institute Robot-Assisted Surgery Instructional Course in April 2013. He has regularly performed laparoscopic and robot-assisted surgery for kidney, prostate, urinary bladder problems and for adrenal mass. Dr. Mandal's department at the Apollo Gleneagles Hospital has carried out the highest number of robot-assisted donor nephrectomy procedures in the country.
